The PL Works Employability Programme

Crystal Palace FC Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our new Premier League works – opportunities for success employability Programme for young people aged 16 – 25 years old.

Crystal Palace FC Foundation seeks to deliver the PL Employability – Opportunities for Success Employability Programme over a period of 12 weeks using a triangulation of support; flexible core delivery, mentoring and aftercare.

The programme is apportioned into three elements to support the participants to develop their capabilities towards work readiness – observing their capabilities within the emerging stage, developing stage and established stage.
Participants will then move on to setting goals and complete Personal Development Plans. Practical, informal education workshops and mentoring will give participants access to a range of opportunities for success, through accredited training, short courses, taster days, networking events, community events and masterclasses.

In addition to the 12-week ‘Core Programme’ participants on the programme will be given an additional 20 hours of 1:1 mentoring support and opportunities to participate in the programme at flexible locations/satellite hubs.

‘Participants are able to gain accreditations like the NCFE Level 1 in Employability Skills, Digital Literacy and Social Media Skills, Emergency First Aid Certificate, Entrepreneurship, Community Sports Leaders Award, personal Money Management and the FA Level 1 Coaching Badge’.
