FMA Member Bobby Child’s will be cycling 145 miles for prostrate cancer UK
The FMA are delighted to introduce you to the first of our cyclists participating in Football to Amsterdam. Bobby Child is Sutton United FC’s Sports Therapist and Business Development Manager. Said Bobby “I have been here for 8 years and love it”
Bobby, 48, will be taking part in the event over the weekend of 9-11 June 2017 for the charity Prostate Cancer UK.
Football to Amsterdam is the biggest ride – and the biggest party – in football, backed by the FMA, the English Football League and the League Managers Association, it’s an event football fans can’t ignore.
Our cyclists will be riding 145 miles to Amsterdam over the 2 days in June and will be in good company with the likes of Les Ferdinand, Terry Butcher and Simon Grayson.
In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Older men, men with a family history of prostate cancer and black men are more at risk. By educating all men, whatever their age, we can raise awareness of symptoms and catch this potential killer disease early.
